
Dan Jones is a Veterinarian who has been a veterinary practice owner for more than 35 years. He owned and operated two companion pet practices from 1987 through 2000 and an emergency care practice from 1992 through 2019. Dr. Jones’ background includes 13 years with Banfield in numerous positions, from Chief of Staff to Regional VP of Operations to VP of Medical Leadership.
From 2011-2022 Dr. Jones was the Executive Director of Business Development for PSIvet, which is the largest and oldest member organization serving primarily independently owned practices. He has been on the executive team for PSIvet since 2011, and his main responsibilities included negotiating vendor contracts, consulting with member practice owners, and managing the Business Study Groups.
Currently, Dr. Jones is the Chief Operating Officer for Pawbridge Partners LLC.
He is very active in organized Veterinary Medicine and is the immediate past president of the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association and received the Gold Award from the Florida Veterinary Medical Association in 2022 for outstanding contributions to Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida.
Dr. Jones received his Bachelor of Science in 1980 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984, both from Auburn University.
